How to make a Scrapbook in an easy way?
Scrapbooking is a hobby with a long history. Early scrapbookers cut and pasted cards to keep them in memory. Then as photography became more popular and affordable, people began to stuck photos into albums to display and enjoy them. Then crafters began to create scrapbook. These scrapkooks are made up of richly decorated pages include not only photos but also colors and writing. Scrapbook is an art. There is no right or wrong way to create scrapbook page layout. Creativity is the key.
If you are a beginner, it doesn’t matter. Picture Collage Maker Pro helps you to make your digital images into new pictures or albums. There are a few steps to provide this software as follows:
Step1: Download the Picture Collage Maker Pro and choose a template.
Download a Picture Collage Maker Pro on the desktop and open it. On the collage menu, click Open from template and choose one from it.
Step 2: Add picture.
Choose the pictures from the Photo pane, browse the window, choose any picture from your computer if you like and add it to the collage, you can highlight one large photo or several smaller photos. Also you can resize, rotate pictures.
Step3: Add embellishment.
Add any embellishment you like. Open the left pane, you’ll see frame, mask, clipart. In order to make the photo looks beautiful, we should add frames and masks to decorate the photos, click it open then you can choose what you like, apply it to the page, different width to decorate variety of the photos.
Step4: Add texts.
On the above toolbar, there is an Add button, click it then you catch a glimpse of Add text, Add photos, etc. The texts introduce the page either with humor or a description of the page topic.
Step 5: Add new page.
On the right of window, you’ll see a Page pane, click add button and the new page will come to your sight. Finish the new page as you did just now.
Step6: Save or print out.
After you finished this scrapbook, you can save it as image file or print it out, this will become a permanent memory.
In a few minutes you can make a scrapbook, how easy it is. Let’s join in.

Starting your Child’s Scrapbook – Making Memories Last

A child’s scrapbook is among the most prized possessions a parent can own. Whether you have only one child, or several, it is likely you will want to capture many of those first time memories forever in an album that will preserve them for many years to come. There are several ways to do this, and you may even consider starting a separate album for different segments of your child’s life. Below are tips that will help you chronicle those precious moments so you can view them over and over again.
Begin with a baby book. The baby book will include items such as baby pictures, locks of your baby’s hair, cards you received before and after the birth, and various journal entries made by you, the proud parent. You can begin making these entries during your pregnancy as a way to express to your unborn child how happy you are about his or her impending birth. You can also include when he or she began to walk, talk, and memories of the first birthday.
Begin a toddler book. Since most children are quite active during this stage, you will probably accumulate a variety of photos to fill this album. Continue making journal entries that help the pictures tell a story in such a way that anyone reading it can easily imagine being there. Write down particular words or phrases spoken by your child as a way to preserve the adorable moments that seemingly slip away so quickly.
As your child gets older, construct an album that will include numerous art projects, drawings, and stories your child has created to give it that personal touch. Be sure to photograph important moments such as graduations, special parties, or any other important occasions. Encourage your child to become involved in the scrapbooking process by choosing pictures and suggesting ideas. This will add personality and really make it one-of-a-kind.
Lastly, create a scrapbook chronicling his or her junior high and high school years. Here, include pictures taken at school functions and family events, providing appropriate captions for each. While this part of the process may not be appreciated while it is taking place, it may be something to look back on when your children have offspring of their own.
Present your child with these albums at a time you deem appropriate. If he or she has taken an active part in the process over the years, it is likely these albums will have been viewed many times, and may be a requested keepsake. If you wish to keep copies of these albums, consider duplicating each album as it is created. After all, your child isn’t the only one who will wish to look back on all the special times.

Does your mind go blank when it’s time to add journaling to your scrapbook pages? You’re not alone. Learning some simple journaling exercises can get that pen moving. Many consider journaling their least favorite part of scrapbooking. Don’t let journaling get you down, it is a vital part of our scrapbook page layouts.
Journaling adds depth and meaning to our layouts. It captures so much more about the stories behind the photos. There are many ways to include journaling in our scrapbooks, and lots of places to look for inspiration. Let’s take a look at some journaling ideas for your scrapbook.
Divide and Conquer — Why do we have a difficult time journaling on the scrapbook pages we just created? Creating the scrapbook page layouts is a right brain activity, while journaling on those pages is a left brain activity. Some may find it difficult to switch gears easily. Try creating page layouts and journaling at separate times.
Write a letter — Journaling in your scrapbook may feel awkward. Try journaling as if you were writing a letter to someone. Who will be looking at your scrapbooks? Write as if you were speaking to them. Most of us will be sharing our scrapbooks with good friends and family.
Spur of the moment — Jot down poems, quotes, phrases and other journaling ideas right when the inspiration hits. If you wait until you have time to scrapbook, you may forget. Carry a small notebook with you to write in. Keep one in your purse or in the car.
Resource File — Create a resource file to organize and store information that you may want to include in your scrapbooks. Use a binder or find some space in a filing cabinet. An expandable file or a storage container might do the trick. Some items you may consider storing for future use are…
Postcards brochures pamphlets magazine/newspaper clippings programs invitations greeting cards notes and letters
Email — Save or print emails from your family and friends. These may contain some real treasures; remarks, sayings and stories to use in your scrapbooks.
Lists and bullet points — Using lists and bullet points can keep information clear and to the point. This is a great technique for organizing a lot of information in a small amount of space.
How to get started
Handwritten journaling is a great method for traditional scrapbooking. Your handwriting leaves your personal touch on the page, becoming a legacy for future generations. What if you don’t like your handwriting? Here are some alternatives
Computer generated – Using a computer to generate your journaling gives you many choices of fonts, sizes and colors, but you lose the personal quality of handwriting. Be sure to print your journaling on acid free paper.
Handwriting font – Turn your handwriting into a font. This allows you to print your journaling from your computer, but still maintains some of the personal element of your handwriting.
Combination - Add your handwriting in small areas such as dates and photo labels, while printing the journaling from your computer. This will keep the personal element of your writing on the page.
Your families memories are important. Regardless of the method you choose, just make sure you journal on your scrapbook pages.
What to write on a page
We’ve looked at some ways to add journaling to the page. Are you wondering what to journal about? Here are some important items to include.
Scrapbooking page title – A title let’s others know what the page is about. It can also help set the mood for the page. A title can be added in handwriting, with stencils, stickers or pre-made titles.
The five W’s - The basics of each layout should be the five W’s; who, what, when, where and why. Write the names of the people in the photos. List full names, not everyone knows who Uncle Jim is. Include the dates the photos were taken. As time passes it will be harder to remember. Don’t forget where you were and what you were doing, why the photos were taken. You may also want to include the funny stories and memorable events not shown in the photos. Include your thoughts and feelings.
Poems and quotes – Not sure you can find just the right words? Still have a bit of space you want to fill? Try adding a poem or quote to the page. Lyrics from your favorite song are another great idea. Poems and quotes also help set the mood for your layout.
Make it interesting
The information journaling adds to the page is important, but let’s look at how journaling can add interest to your page as well.
Outline your journaling -Draw an outline around your journaling with one of your permanent acid-free pens. This will make your journaling stand out on the page. You can also add a frame around it.
Journaling box – Write in a journaling box. Many companies offer journaling boxes You can make your own by matting lined paper with a coordinating color paper. Add a sticker to spice up the journaling box.
Monogram - Use a larger size for the beginning letter in the first word of your title or journaling to add some interest.

A scrapbook is no different from a paperback novel. Words usually tell you what is happening and can be seen in every image. Though this never reaches anything more than 100 pages, it gets enough for an entertaining story having a beginning and reaching an end.
Every page in the scrapbook is apparently made up of paper. You could always buy these in bookstores. The ones which are lignin and acid free and those safe for photos are often preferred. This would ensure endurance to your pages as long as proper storage is ascertained.
You can also start with pieces of specialized papers, recycled ones, colored papers, art papers or construction papers that you can compile after. Some scrap bookers do this because they don’t want to make all the pages uniform. Not all cuttings can be done with a scissors. Sometimes, you need a cutter to make your work a little easier. When using a cutter, make sure that you have a cutting board underneath to avoid cutting papers underneath or worse putting cut lines on the surface of the table.
Undoing changes is not very easy and hence you need to keep everything in order initially before starting to cut. Dual tapes could be used until the hobbyist is satisfied with the look. Only then it would be wise to move onto the next page.
At times, more than one day is required to complete a page. To know how the succeeding pages would look when placed besides each other, the hobbyist should flip the pages back at occasional instance to ensure continuity from every cover.
Getting a durable cover for your photo album would be the best way to take care of your scrapbook. It would make sure that the contents are safe when stored in a cool hidden place.
Sometimes, regardless of however careful you are, the elements might cause scrapbook decay. Hence the option of putting it up on some website or saving in a compact disc would be a wise idea in these cases.
Initially, scrapbooks were made conventionally using mere papers and imagination. In the present day, the same could be done online, by enabling the hobbyist to download various templates for imaginative designing. The scrapbook could be completed and one could also have it posted in some website.
One would simply have to run the search engine through to browse for appropriate sites and that would seldom cost a thing. The user could also save the templates and other findings on his local system. Working in this manner would be helpful in starting off with where the project was left incomplete.
Several methods would tell you about excelling in this area of interest. One significant approach is by looking at other similar projects so that you get some idea on the subject and the corresponding theme.
Scrapbooking has been done since ages and there is now an expansion in this area of interest. People prefer the idea as many are not content with having everything in a photo album. You must know that every scrapbook is composed of memorable pages and the effort in them is more than worth its mere size.

It’s fun to make a scrapbook especially when you aim to cherish those keepsakes and memories from “baby’s first” to “father’s first” or maybe even “brother’s last” or that summer vacation you’ve enjoyed with your family. But to make a scrapbook on your own needs some serious scrapbook supplies and some creative scrapbook layouts to be catchful to the eye of the reader or the viewer. Here are some things that you might need to know especially when it’s the first time you make your own scrapbook.
Finding the right scrapbook materials for your new project is the easiest part! Since scrapbooking is a hobby that has been around for some time now you can be sure that the materials are far less expensive then when the hobby was first introduced and the variety is unlimited. As this hobby continues to progress the number one place to shop and purchase your scrapbook supplies or materials is online.
But before that, the challenging part is to choose what type of topic you want for your scrapbook. You might have dozens in your head. Your baby’s firsts like his first hair cut, his first photo, his first pair of socks, his first tooth, his first baby step photo, his first laugh photo or you can make a scrapbook of the different things that you love: letters from your boyfriend, pictures of yourself, photos of your most-loved showbiz celebrity and whatever you have in your mind. And of course, you need some ideas for scrapbook layouts to make it more creative and entertaining!
Once you have decided on a topic, you can start choosing the supplies needed for your project. You can start by selecting what kind of scrapbook paper you want to use.
Today it’s really hard to choose from thousands of examples and scrapbook supplies and as what have been said before, the Internet is the best place to look for them and it’s really very easy!
It’s entirely a different kind of beast when you do shopping online. You can open several websites at a time and choose or compare brands, quality of different scrapbook supplies for hours or even days until you find what you’ve been looking for. That almost seems cutting the time to almost half of it! That way, you can spend more time creating than searching, right?
If you can’t find what you’re looking for online, perhaps, you can at least use the Internet to compare prices before heading out to your favorite retailer and buy your scrapbook supplies there.
But whichever way you look at it, it’s more convenient to do online shopping even looking for scrapbook supplies and getting some real good tips for the best examples of scrapbook layouts. So, you think making scrapbook is easy? Yes, it is, no doubt about it just as long you do your shopping online! So, hurry and make that scrapbook of yours! If you wait and wait, you will never know when you will be able to have the time and luxury to create your own scrapbook.

Ideas for a Baby Memories Scrapbook

There are so many ways to scrapbook your baby’s first year… in fact, it may be overwhelming! So here are a few ideas to help you gather and organize all those special mementos and create a beautiful scrap book, or two or three that will be treasured by you and your family for years to come!
This Is My Family
This scrap book will include pages for each member of the family – Mom, Dad, brother, sister, grandparents, even pets! You could also include pictures of the family home… the baby’s room, the backyard, and other places the baby loves to be. You may also want to include pictures of their community – church, park, baby store – any place they’ve been and had fun!
My First Birthday (or other significant event)
These are easy to compile! Just gather lots of beautiful pictures, the mementos, and keepsakes from that day and get started. Don’t forget to include the invitations, guest list, menu, games played, and other important activities of the day.
A Day in My Life
This theme is a great idea for a mini scrapbook. Take pictures of various events in your baby’s day… even if it’s just sitting in the high chair. It is a great way to capture the silly and precious moments in their life. This makes a great gift for grand parents, aunts and uncles… any family member who can’t visit your baby as often as they’d like!
Watch Me Grow
This will be a compilation of all the major milestones of their first one or two years. There are the “standard” firsts of course… first doctor visit, first step, first tooth, first word. But don’t forget the other, just as important, firsts: First Day Home, First Night with Grand Ma, First Church Visit, First Trip to the Zoo… you get the idea.
We’re So Excited You’re Coming
This is a good theme for children coming into a new family (i.e.: adoption, blended family, etc.). Document how you prepared for their arrival. That could include decorating their new room, having a family meeting to discuss the change, meeting with school officials… anything involved in the process. This is a great time to journal the feelings of the family too – not just the pictures.
So Many Reasons to Love You
This scrapbook will be a collection of pictures, mementos and journaling about the ways you and the family interact with your baby. Show simple acts of togetherness… then document your feelings. This type of book lends itself to singe picture layouts with lots of room for journaling.
In Summary
These are but a few of the types of scrapbooks you can create to document and preserve all those special Baby Memories into one, two or even three fabulous scrapbooks!
